Transplanting Large Trees with Excavator

I know this isn’t an ideal method, and definitely not ideal timing. In fact it’s the worst timing! It’s a 100 degrees and no rain. This needs to be done in winter when the trees are dormant, but I have to move them now. If they don’t survive then oh well, I learned something. As we keep clearing space here and there I’ll have more opportunities to try again.
